This portfolio highlights a curated selection of digital eLearning experiences designed to meet the diverse needs of adult learners in corporate and government settings. Each course leverages instructional design principles and adult learning theory best practices—such as relevance, autonomy, engagement, and practical application—to deliver targeted, effective, and user-friendly learning solutions.

Project Scope
The portfolio features three key projects:

  1. Introduction to Employee Engagement
    A foundational course designed to educate people leaders on the core drivers of employee engagement. The course includes multimedia content, reflective exercises, and scenario-based activities to deepen understanding and inspire meaningful behavior change.

  2. HR & Management Microlearnings
    A modular series of short, focused training sessions created for busy professionals. Topics include performance management, feedback conversations, and inclusive leadership. These microlearnings emphasize real-world scenarios, just-in-time learning, and mobile accessibility, allowing managers to immediately apply what they learn in the flow of work.

Instructional Approach
All content was designed using ADDIE and SAM methodologies and grounded in the principles of adult learning theory (Knowles), cognitive load theory, and accessible multimedia learning principles. The design emphasizes:

  • Clear learning objectives and outcomes

  • Self-directed, bite-sized learning experiences

  • Scenario-based and interactive components to drive retention

  • Accessibility and usability across devices

Tools & Technologies
Courses were developed using Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, and Adobe Creative Cloud, with assets managed through SCORM-compliant LMSs and cloud-based deployment (e.g., Amazon S3, SCORM Cloud).

Corporate managers, HR professionals, and government employees seeking role-specific, actionable learning aligned with compliance and performance goals.

Introduction to Employee Engagement Course

Abstract: Learn how to integrate employee engagement principles into your workplace. This engagement eLearning was built using Adobe Captivate and follows all WCAG design principles.

Impact: Managers and employees who took this course found themselves more confident and willing to discuss engagement related topics readily. This course helped to improve engagement scores at client sites by 6-11% after managers and employees were trained on engagement concepts. Learners reported high rates of satisfaction in this course and attributed it on post-course evaluations for helping them thrive at work.

Microlearning Samples:

The following work samples were created to provide learners with an easy-to-use self-service learning resource for common HR and management soft skills topics. Some of these samples were developed solely for a leadership audience and others were developed for a company-wide audience. They are part of a series of support materials created for managers and employees during a performance review process. They represent a modular design approach that reuses templates and visual assets to create a consistent digital learning environment built off of company brand guidelines for learners.
